The El Dorado airport is located on the west end of Av. El Dorado, also known as Calle 26. This site concentrates 65% of all the air traffic operations in the country, receiving flights from Miami (3 hour flight), New York (5 hour flight), Santiago de Chile (7 hours) and Argentina and Rio de Janeiro (6 hours). Bogota is one hour away (by plane) from the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean sea and the Pacific, and is considered as the city with the best connectivity with the rest of South America.
